Beth Kahlen, BS, mezzo-soprano, received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Portland State University.
Many further studies include acting with Scott Kellman, songwriting with Chris Williamson, and vocal improvisation with Rhiannon.
After several years in television broadcasting, Beth turned her energy toward performance. Her travels took her to Brisbane, Australia where she was a member of the World ExpoCity Performance Ensemble and studied movement with Michael Mullins of Sydney.
Beth has played numerous theater and musical theater roles in community and professional companies. She spent several years on the road with bands performing in a variety of venues and styles. She also worked throughout the Northwest with the Swizzle Chicks, a swing/original vocal jazz group.
Today, Beth enjoys a private voice studio working with speakers, singers and bands of all types. She has worked for years as a studio voice for music projects as well as commercial voice-overs.
